The Lester's

Albert and Barbara Lester, Carolyn's parents continued the tradition of farming at the Lester homestead. Albert (Carolyn's father) built the original Round Swamp Farm, a small red stand where Carolyn sold crops as a young girl.

Carolyn Snyder

Never too busy to spend time with her grandchildren, Carolyn, who opened the farm when she was a young girl, is a matriarch who cares deeply for her family, customers and community.

Harold Snyder

Young Harold Snyder (Carolyn's Husband) with his brother Leo. Never one to miss out on a good day for fishing, Harold fondly named his boats "Swamper."

Claire Olszewski

Embracing customers with stories and laughter for over four decades Claire's love is ingrained in all aspects of Round Swamp Farm including her own specialty banana breads, bundts, and cakes.

Lisa Niggles

When you see Lisa's name on a product you know you're holding something special. At just 12 years old, she started baking cookies in her parents' small kitchen. After nearly four decades, Lisa's baked goods continue to line the shelves of Round Swamp Farm. She has always maintained the traditions of the family matriarchs that inspired her: a passion for combining the best all natural ingredients and a dedication to simplicity. From the many joyful memories she has created over the years, Lisa has proven that when you bake from your heart you bring happiness to the soul.

Charles Niggles

Charlie Niggles brings meaning to the expression "Farmers of Land and Sea." A born fisherman and skilled farmer he manages to produce both crops and seafood throughout the summer season for our farm market. Like any trade, his knowledge of the land and water has been built over a lifetime of experience.

Shelly Schaffer

Shelly maintains the spirit of her father, Harold Snyder at Round Swamp. She's a natural in the kitchen, often inventing and recreating many of the dishes that are now staples in our store. Her namesake lemonade, juices & teas are refreshing, unique, and found only at Round Swamp. With her spirited sense of humor and down to earth personality she reminds us all that life is an experience to be enjoyed surrounded by family and friends.
