Farmers of Land & Sea®

Farmers of Land & Sea®

Welcome

Round Swamp Farm™ is chocolate chip cookies right out of the oven, buttery corn on the cob, juicy lobsters and the aroma of freshly made bread.  For nine generations, our market has been the front porch, the backyard and the kitchen table to our loyal patrons on the Eastern End of Long Island.  In these times, when home is more precious than ever, we are happy to open ours to you.

Quality Counts

At our country market, the shelves are laden with all manner of baked goods, breads, berry muffins, scones, coffee and pound cakes, pies, fresh juices & teas, jams, jellies, fresh prepared meals and sides, as well as local produce and fish.

Much of our own and local produce goes into our finished product.  We believe in simple, satisfying food made from scratch with the best ingredients we can find, or grow.

We hold ourselves to the highest standards of quality, freshness, cleanliness, and friendliness.  This is the way we've always done business, and in our book it's the only way.

"In the old days people had to grow and prepare their own food to survive; this continues to hold true with Round Swamp Farm growing and preparing all manner of food - made right in our farm kitchen."

Farmstand Interior

How Round Swamp Came to Be...

Over fifty years ago as a young girl, Carolyn Lester Snyder started her first farm stand.  Carolyn's father, Albert Lester, who inherited the 15-acre, 250-year-old Round Swamp Homestead, built her a small red wagon to peddle her goods such as tomatoes, cucumbers, or a few ears of corn.

Today, four generations take pride in a legacy that continues to drive the tradition of farming the very best produce, creating home-cooked specialties, stocking the finest local seafood, and running three markets that make it available to everyone.
